Building systems overview
Buildings are not isolated objects. Each one belongs to a base system: living, storage, power, pipes, farming, industry, automation, or exploration support.
Base structures
Doors, ladders, storage, blocks, plates, grates, and supports shape movement, storage, heat transfer, and fluid separation.
Power
Generators, batteries, wires, switches, and turbines must be planned around peak load and survival priority. Pumps, oxygen, and food machines should not lose power because of optional loads.
Pipes
Gas, liquid, and solid transport need clear direction, filtering, bypasses, and maintenance space.
Automation
Start simple: stop when full, start when empty, cut power when hot, and filter wrong materials away from the main line.
