Power, pipes, and automation
Automation is useful when it removes repeated manual rescue. Build small reliable loops before combining them into larger systems.
Power priority
Separate survival loads from optional loads. Oxygen, pumps, food processing, critical doors, and essential lighting deserve priority.
Pipe control
Filters, switches, bypasses, and clear outputs prevent wrong materials from entering the wrong system.
Simple patterns
- Stop when full.
- Start when empty.
- Cut off when temperature is unsafe.
- Route wrong gas, liquid, or solid to a safe branch.
