Tools and equipment priority
Tools decide what terrain you can handle; equipment decides what environments you can survive. Upgrade around the current bottleneck: digging, lighting, movement, maintenance, or protection.
| Group | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Digging | pickaxes, shovels, explosives | open space and collect solids |
| Exploration | lamps, helmets, grapples | move through dark or vertical areas |
| Maintenance | dismantling, vacuum, ignition tools | repair and reshape the base |
| Protection | pressure or warm suits | enter risky environments |
Early upgrades should support basic digging and light. Later upgrades should solve movement, harsh environments, and longer trips.
